Start spring with these cute, chic and glamorous flower head clips. Easy and inexpensive to make!
Materials:
-Fabric scraps
-Needle
-Thread
-Felt
-Fabric glue or hot glue
-Pen or marker
-Embellishments, jewels, gems, buttons
-Head clips
-Scissors

Steps:
1. I didn't really use any measurements for this project. I just grabbed some fabric leftovers and worked around it. So you would need to find a rectangular piece of fabric and fold it lengthwise. I'm going to take a wild guess and say mine was about 7 to 8 inches long by 4 inches wide (8" x 4").
2. Thread your needle and run a basting stitch through the long side where the sides meet.
3. Pull the thread to gather the fabric.

4. Adjust the fabric so it looks flower like. Stitch in place.
5. Cut out a circular piece of felt. (Tip: you can use your thread cone as a pattern. If you are making a bigger flower, use something with a bigger shape).
6. Glue the felt on to one of the sides of the flower. This will be the back side.

7. Take the head clip and glue it on to the felt. (Tip: sometimes I line the base of the head clip with a small piece of felt to hide the metal edges).
8. Glue your embellishments on to the front side of the flower. I bought some cheap rings and using pliers removed the ring, and then I glued the metal flower to my work.
